Fifteen artists interpret the pencil and help children sustaining the project We re-write the Future

For the Lapis Ludica exhibit organised by Sblu_spazioalbello and supported by FILA, children who live in countries at war and post-war countries will be helped, guaranteeing them the fundamental right to education by purchasing the exhibit catalogue making a donation starting at 10 Euro.. The catalogue includes an introduction by professor Stefano Zecchi, design professor at the University of Milan.

Adhering to Sblu_spazioalbello, the exhibit space dedicated to researching beauty in modern design in Milan, Fila - Fabbrica Italiana Lapis e Affini offers artists from various disciplines the chance to compare designs working on a shared theme: the pencil.
An object unquestionably tied to daily life, a key communication and creativity tool that becomes the co-star in the creation. For this exhibit it becomes the masterpiece, key subject in various forms, colours and spirits, because interpreted by photographers, sculptors, painters, graphic artists, illustrators, virtual designers and many more of different ages and with from different backgrounds.

Lapis, in this case, is interpreted by the artists invited according to their poetic expression: not just a way to convey art, by an expressive subject that becomes the key figure in the creations, releasing new emotions.

The project involves 15 artists of different ages and design backgrounds, whether famous, emerging or promising talents. The artists are Adalberto Borioli, Loriana Castano, Patrizia Comand, José Molina and Thula painters; Grazia Gabbini and Gualtiero Mocenni sculptors; Lucio Barbuio graphic designer; Nicola Bettale and Michael Loos photographers; Paolo Dalponte illustrator; Sugo Design di Andrea Gallo and Nicola Moretti motion designer, Chen Li and Simonetta Ferrante calligraphers Federica Moretti fashion designer. The exhibit is open to the public and provides visitors with a look at the many facets of modern art.
