The partnership between the legendary pen-marker and the Genoa meeting is based on the shared passion for spreading culture and artistic expressions. In fact, TrattoPEN could not be excluded from the largest and most prestigious Italian event dedicated to poetry in all its forms, attracting the world's leading poets and passionate crowds to the capital of Liguria since 1995. With more than 700 artists lined up to date and an average of 80 free events each year, the Genoa International Poetry Festival is the key Italian and world poetry event, without language, style or expressive barriers.

The preferred writing tool by journalists, writers, designers, architects, illustrators and the official pen of young Italian writers, Tratto PEN has always promoted "authors", actively supporting and sustaining quality organisations and projects that enhance Italian expression and creativity.
