This year Tratto Pen performs on screen to make Italian film
history. In fact, Francesco Patierno's new film "The Early Bird
Catches the Worm" hit theatres at the end of February, with
Tratto's first screen debut.
Tratto knows how to leave a mark: but not just on paper, also on
the big screen, thanks to its thin profile and bright colours
recognised by all. The story of "The Early Bird Catches the Worm"
is the same as "The Player", book in which Marco Baldini, author
and Radio Due radio show host narrates his career in the continuous
pendulum between his successful public life and his private life
obsessed with gambling.
Elio Germano, Laura Chiatti and Martina Stella star in this
film, distributed by Medusa and produced by Rodeo Drive, which
narrates the thrill of risks and the dangers of exaggeration. Marco
Baldini, the main character, began his career as a DJ in the
70's.
From Florence, someone suggested he move to Milan to work as the
host of a famous radio show. At that point it seemed that
employment stability and professional success could repress his
hunger for gambling. However, Marco was the victim of
obsession.
