Colouring is a game

Since 1920 Giotto has been the Italian brand par excellence, synonym of colour for children and youngsters. Conceived as a coloured pencil line, over almost a half a century, Giotto has followed the evolution of generations of creative needs, expanding its range and anticipating yesterday, today and tomorrow's children's requests.

Before coloured pencils, coated the same colour and the lead, today they come in natural wood shades like Nature Giotto. Giotto Supermina comes with a larger lead for excellent performance and durability and Laccato, the round pencil, can be customised with your name. Watercolour pats and rich poster paints in tubes, with super covering power were introduced at the end of the 50's. The 60's brought a new way to colour: felt-tip pens, made with safe ink and washable colours: from Giotto Turbo Color and Giotto Turbo Maxi to the innovative Giotto Decor line, water-based super imposable coloured pens, specific for fabric, cardboard, glass, leather, Das, shells, plastic, etc.

In the following years, the Giotto family expanded with crayons and pastels, bottled paints, chalk, markers and painting and drawing accessories. Recently, creative and recreational expression freedom for young children was granted with a new invention: Giotto Patplume, the totally safe and soft vegetable-based modelling dough.
